Poem: Do You?
Do you have
time for me today? Do you remember the way? Do you know who I
am? Can you hear me? Can you feel my presence? Do you remember
when the last time was, we shared some time together? Do you
still Love me? Do you think you can continue to go like this
without my company?
Do you think
you are all right? If I send my Son tonight do you think you
will be in the Book of Life? Do you know I can help you with
that problem? Do you know I can bring you peace? Do you know I
can have others stand in the gap if you would only ask for help?
Do you know I can lift that burden?
Do you know I
can carry you thru? You used to know when you talked with me
that all these things I’m telling you is true. I used to know
without a doubt that you really, really, loved me. I used to
hear from you everyday before you got on your way and we would
walk together and talk together. Do you know I still Love you
and would do it all over again if you would just come back and
talk to me?
Do you know I
miss you and I will always be here waiting for you; right until
that trumpet blows and all my people are gathered home? Then do
you know it will be too late? I
Love you and miss you!
